San Jose State University Interdisciplinary Science Building

The Interdisciplinary Science Building at San Jose State University will be the first new academic building constructed on the campus in 30 years and the first new science building since 1972. This eight-story building is the first phase of what is envisioned to be a full Science Park at the University. The building will provide teaching and research lab spaces, along with a Center for High-Performance Computing and a Data and Science Information Lab for the College of Professional and Global Education.

In June of 2019, Portland Bolt manufactured the anchor bolts for this project. There were nearly 400 anchor bolts required, with the majority of them being 2” diameter F1554 Grade 105 high strength anchor rods, assembled with nuts and custom plate washers.
