Seattle’s Sea-Tac Airport is undergoing the North Satellite Modernization Project. It is an expansion and renovation of the 45 year old facility. It is being built to preserve resources and meet strict sustainability standards. It will open up with natural light and views of the airfield and mountains.
Portland Bolt was chosen to provide the anchor bolts for this $700 million dollar project. We manufactured over 50,000 pounds of anchor bolts starting in May through November of 2017. The F1554 Grade 105 anchor rods ranged in diameter from ¾” diameter up to 2” diameter. We supplied the anchor bolts in 5 releases with a tight delivery schedule due to our extensive inventory of F1554 Grade 105 steel in diameters from 5/8” through 3”.
