In the fall of 2020, Portland Bolt was contacted to supply the custom fasteners required for mounting a sign structure to a king pile on the Columbia River. The contractor had a tight schedule and required the custom fasteners to hit a specific barge sailing in order to prevent project delays. The ASTM F3125 Grade A325 bolts that would mount the sign structure to the pile required an extended thread length so the fasteners would need to be manufactured.
Portland Bolt’s ability to hot-forge headed bolts and hot-dip galvanize at our facility allowed us to control the expedited schedule and hit the promised ship date keeping the project moving without delay. Contact Portland Bolt for any project that requires large custom construction fasteners and we will use all resources available to us to keep your project moving forward.
