In the spring of 2017, construction began on a long-awaited new marina on Lake Chelan in Washington. The marina features 168 slips designed to accommodate pontoon boats, sail boats, recreational ski and wake-board boats and cabin cruisers up to 40+ feet.
Portland Bolt was selected to provide a variety of marine construction bolts for the floating docks on this project. The docks required over 1,200 ¾” diameter hot-dip galvanized rods, along with several hundred custom timber bolts and hex bolts. Portland Bolt manufactured and galvanized all of these products here in our facility. With our ability to efficiently roll thread diameters from 1/2” through 1”, and our in-house galvanizing capabilities, Portland Bolt is an excellent option for bolts in marine environments.
