Beech Fork Covered Bridge

The Beech Fork Covered Bridge, also known as the Mount Zion Covered Bridge, is the longest covered bridge in Kentucky at over 200 feet in length.  Originally built in 1865, the bridge was no longer in use and needed a major face lift.  In October of 2017,  the contractor was in the middle of a comprehensive restoration of the Beech Fork Covered Bridge, located in Mooresville, KY.  To complete the job, the contractor found themselves in need of some particularly long square headed bolts.  To provide these parts, they turned to Portland Bolt to manufacture the bolts and coordinate air freight.  Several days after ordering, when it was discovered that the original order needed to be doubled, Portland Bolt was able to accommodate the request with a rush order and ship both orders together and on time.
