Many different construction fasteners require some type of bend. These bolts can include right angle anchor bolts which require a 90⁰ bend, U-bolts which require a 180⁰ bend, and eye bolts which require a full 360⁰ bend. Engineers also specify a variety of nonstandard bent bolts, and Portland Bolt has the equipment and expertise to make them. Salespeople Amanda Seal and Nate Erde-Wollheim have teamed up, along with web designer Sarah Kemp, to create our latest manufacturing video.

Amazon Biospheres

Seattle, Washington

Amazon BiosphereThe biospheres by Amazon in Seattle, Washington will become a new Seattle landmark. These unique structures are the centerpiece of Amazon’s 3.3 million-square-foot retail and office complex scheduled to be completed in 2017.
The largest of the three spheres will be 130 feet in diameter and measure 95 feet tall. These biospheres are designed to give Amazon employees a park-like setting for work and socialization and will be large enough to accommodate mature trees.
