Glacier Bay National Park boasts 3.3 million acres encompassing a variety of coastline, forest, and mountains double the size of the state of Delaware. Located in the Southeast Alaskan “Panhandle,” the park saw just shy of half a million visitors in 2014 from cruise ships, tour boats, land visitors, and back country campers. Visitors may observe glaciers, fjords, wildlife such as humpback whales, and several mountains over 10,000 feet.
In October of 2015 the Bartlett Cove Public Use Dock required a number of custom anchor bolts. Portland Bolt supplied these headed anchor bolts with our own in-house hot-dip galvanizing as well as a variety of hardware including malleable iron washers, hard washers, hex nuts, and stainless steel hex lag screws. Portland Bolt’s experience in the marine industry as well as shipping to Alaska makes us an excellent source of these materials.
